Strange times are upon us, and we’re all watching the developments around Covid-19 Coronavirus with apprehension and for some people, a lot of anxiety. Coronavirus has become a household name, and is wreaking havoc around the world!
At TLC Finance, our primary concern is for the health and wellbeing of not just our staff and clients, but the wider community too. We would like to assure everyone that we are very much open for business, and we have implemented a few measures to keep everyone as safe as possible whilst still making sure that we are here to help you.
Carry on reading to find out what steps we’ve taken:
- Our staff will ensure that they are washing their hands regularly, as per government guidelines. This will be done in particular before meeting a client.
- We will offer facilities to our customers and visitors for them to also follow hand-washing guidelines.
- When possible, we will offer hand sanitiser for use whilst in the office (subject to availability).
- We will clean and sanitise desks, meeting rooms and work stations regularly.
- We would ask any visitors that have been abroad, and in particular to a medium or high risk country, to advise TLC Finance before visiting the office so that we can make suitable arrangements/take appropriate action.
- We would ask anyone who has any symptoms resembling the virus, or who is feeling generally unwell, to advise TLC Finance before visiting the office so that we can make suitable arrangements/take appropriate action.
- We encourage customers to make initial enquiries via our website where possible, at www.tupper.je and will complete as much of our business as possible via the telephone, internet and email.
- Where customers are unable to come into the office, we will endeavour to find a way to still meet their requirements.
- We ask that visitors and staff alike do not partake in physical contact greetings, such as handshakes, and instead that other greetings be used.

TLC Finance are committed to providing all of our customers with the best possible service and support that we can offer, and we are determined not to let Coronavirus disrupt this (at least for as long as possible). We have various continuity plans in place that will allow us to continue to operate throughout this period, albeit in a slightly modified format.
We understand that some customers may have concerns, and we are here to help in whatever way we can. If you find yourself in a position where you are struggling to make repayments, you should speak to your loan provider to discuss what steps can be taken.
You may well be sick of being told to wash your hands for 20 seconds or more with soap and warm water, but it truly is the best defence we can all take. The good news is - you don’t have to sing “Happy Birthday” … we are now being told that their are alternatives, such as “I will survive” by Gloria Gaynor, or “Mirror in the Bathroom” by The Beat! We’ll keep you up-dated with more information as it comes in, along with alternative songs you can sing to vary the hand-washing experience!
Joking aside, all of us are impacted by this disease, and many of us have families that are in the “at risk” category. We would therefore ask that you are all vigilant and taking precautionary measures to protect all of those around us.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty - we look forward to seeing you soon!
