WHAT SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) MEANS TO US

 

As a small business we recognise our obligation to act responsibly, ethically and with integrity in interactions with our customers, partners and suppliers as well as the community and environment we live and work in such as an Island.

We believe that conducting business with a high standard of professional conduct, ethics and proficiency are critical to our success and the success of our customers. Meeting these goals will only be achieved conducting business with integrity in accordance with good business practice.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at TLC is about demonstrating and sustaining our commitment to conducting business in a responsible manner. As a small and fairly young company, we have a unique opportunity to make positive economic, social and environmental impacts across the island of Jersey.

Abide by legislations

We abide by all applicable work, safety, environmental and other legislation and regulations in the operation of our business.

Community Support

We support the communities within which we operate and encourage staff to participate in community activities.

Educate

We strive to support staff education and participation in measures to improve environmental awareness and protection and social respect.

If you are part of a business or organisation, whether it’s large or small, they’d be humbled by your company’s support. You could support a whole project or challenge which would be amazing. Or you could simply donate your time, help or resource directly to the organisation.

Jersey Cheshire Home

A charity close to our heart, and a local initiative that people sometimes forget. A local residential home for disabled residents. Founder, David Tupper, has complete a number of challenges on behalf of the Jersey Cheshire Home.

Box in Business

We got involved with Box in Business because they as a business support many local charity challenges. Charities like Wet Wheels and Teenage Cancer Trust. Also, our Director Steve Moore took part in the White Collar boxing event in 2015
